Staff who don't have English as their mother-tongue
Many staff working in this sector come originally from outside the UK - often from countries where English is not widely spoken. Our courses will focus on improving the four essential communication skills of speaking, understanding, reading and writing.
Staff who need to ‘brush up’ their writing skills and/or improve their numeracy
Many employees in this sector left school early, maybe without taking any formal qualifications, and lack confidence in their writing skills. Our courses cover the necessary skills to write letters and reports confidently and with accuracy by focusing on basic punctuation, spelling and grammar.
Many employees (at all levels) have difficulty with their number skills. Our short tailor-made Numeracy courses focus precisely on the needs of the individual within the context of their work roles.
NVQs and other vocational training courses
